A little bit about Homydaze Academy

HOMYDAZE Academy is a fully-fledged co-educational Nursery and Primary Junior School.

It is estimated that ten million (one third of the population) school aged children are not enrolled in school in Nigeria. Homydaze offers schooling and childcare provision for children aged from 3 months up to 8 years and this includes weekend coaching and exam preparation. 

Here is their Scooter Aid story

Micro scooters donated to Homydaze Academy in 2017 to help support their outdoor leaning provision. In fact, the scooters were originally lost in transit as they were part of a larger barrel of donations that went onto a charter ship. Thankfully they turned up 6 months after.

“They are an enormous success with the children who line up to take it in turns on them. They cant believe they’ve got their own scooters.”

It was enormously kind and has bought great happiness to a group of children who appreciate them every time they play on them.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE SCOOTER AID SCHEME IS TO…

Provide practical aid to under-privileged children to aid their physical and mental development.

Give children back their childhood – some children have very little in the way of toys we want to give them something that is theirs and they can enjoy using every single day.

Recycle items that might otherwise end up in landfill.

Scooter Aid has helped over 100 good causes over the past couple of years. You can donate old Micro Scooters to the scheme easily and anyone can nominate a charity to benefit from the Micro Scooters that we have revamped and are ready to be re-loved.
