4 new awards for Micro Scooters

We were delighted to recently be awarded not 1 but 4 product design awards for our children’s scooters. Nearly 15 years ago we launched the Mini Micro scooter in the UK. We knew it was special. Not only was it beautifully designed, exquisitely engineered and amazingly robust but it made a real difference to our family life. The buggy could stay at home, the children didn’t moan when we were out and about and it turned an every day journey into something fun. Since then we’ve introduced the Maxi Micro for older children, the 3in1 Mini Micro for toddlers and a range of scooters for adults – all developed with the same attention to detail, ease of use and robustness of the Mini Micro. Now over 1 million children scoot to school every day in the UK on their Micro scooters and more adults are using Micro scooters to make their lives easier too (whether that’s halving their commute by scooting, joining in on the school run or to make every day journeys faster). These 4 new awards represent 4 new spaces to make in our swelling award cabinet. That they have all been voted for by separate organisations with separate judging panels makes them even sweeter. The awards we’ve won are: Best Scooter for the Maxi Micro Deluxe as voted for by Made for Mums Best Toy Design for the Maxi Micro Deluxe scooter in the Junior Design Awards Best Toy Design for the Mini 2 Go Deluxe Plus scooter in the Loved by Parents awards Best Ride on Toy for the Mini 2 Go Deluxe Plus scooter in the Loved by Parents awards Thank you for all your support over the years and for your votes in this latest award haul.
