After 4 years of Micro Christmases, Julia, head of our customer care team knows a thing or two about scooters, you (our customers), mulled wine and some other things she wouldn't like mentioned. The following are frequently asked questions Julia and the Micro customer care team could take on as a Mastermind specialist subject. We hope it helps to answer some of the questions you may have... Q: Should I buy a Mini or Maxi Micro scooter for my child? A: It really depends on the age of your child, whether they've had a scooter before and what they will be using the scooter for. We have a wealth of information to help you answer this question in our buying guide section >> Q: What is the difference between a 2 and 3 wheeled scooter? A: Well, aside from the number of wheels, the main difference is the way the scooters steer. A 2 wheeled scooter steers like a bike i.e you turn the handlebars in the direction you want to go. A 3 wheeled scooter steers by a child leaning in the direction they want to go. Lot's more information on 2 or 3 wheeled scooters here >> Q: What size of helmet should I buy my 2 year old? A: Ordering a helmet for your child is a bit like buying a pair of new shoes. You need to measure your child in order to get the correct size. Children's heads are all different - we have had 9 year olds who have needed a small helmet and 2 year olds who require a large helmet. Therefore we always encourage parents to measure their child's head before ordering a helmet. Watch our video showing you how to do this here >> Q. Where is my parcel? A. We offer live tracking on our deliveries. You can track your parcel by clicking on the blue area on your dispatch confirmation email. This can only be done 24 hours after dispatch when your order reaches your local depot. You do not need a tracking number. Q. How long will my parcel take to get to me? A. We offer free delivery on all orders over £50. (this is true for orders made before 3pm) Q. Can you deliver abroad? A. It is not possible for us to deliver internationality. However, please do visit micro.ms to find a Micro supplier in your country. Q. How do I change/replace/repair my scooter? A. We offer replacement parts on all Micro scooters. We also offer a repairs service and provide regular tips and advice on how to maintain your scooter. Please visit our replacement parts guide(written by queen of scooter care, Sallly). Q. Can I fit a water bottle and a Micro bag on my scooter? A: Yes, you can. All our our water bottles and bags use a multi mount clip system meaning they can attach to any Micro scooter quickly and easily. Q: How long is the warranty on a Micro scooter? A: We offer a 6 month warranty on all our scooters and accessories. If you have a problem (we promise this is very rare) we will replace, repair your scooter or scooter accessory straight away. Q: Can I have a discount? A: We do sometimes run offers on our range of scooters - but very rarely, if ever, have discounts available. Sorry.
