Wheels: 

The Micro Sprite wheels are manufactured from Premium PU which is a high quality rubber that gives our scooter wheels their ability to bounce back from stones and cracks in the ground, making it a more enjoyable and smoother ride.

They are also wider than some of our competitors which makes them more stable, and less likely to get stopped by cracks/stones. 

The Micro Sprite deck: 

The Micro Sprite deck is a made from a thicker aluminium, and not hollow like some of our competitors meaning it’s more durable and long lasting.

The Micro Sprite Stem: 

The base of the stem and the bridge of the folding block are separate pieces on the Micro Sprite that can be tightened, adjusted and if necessary replaced. Unlike those competitors that fuse this join, this means the Micro Sprite doesn’t have any play in the handlebar and feels more stable to control. The Sprite has a robust lightweight aluminium frame, making it easy for children to manage.

The Micro Sprite Handle Grips: 

The Micro Sprite handle grips are made from non-toxic components. The Micro Sprite handle grips are designed to hit the floor before the scooter if it falls and therefore lessen the impact and thus lessen the damage to the scooter.

The Micro Sprite Brake: 

The Micro Sprite has a rough surface on the brake, which helps the foot grip. Other competitors have a smooth surface which can be slippery.

The Micro Sprite brake is bigger and so acts as a mudguard as well as a brake. 

The Micro Sprite brake has a grooved underside to help grip the wheel and provide more efficient braking, ultimately improving the safety of riding this scooter.

Folding Mechanism:

The Micro Sprite folding block has a solid outer shell to protect the mechanism and give it extra strength. It also protects the user’s fingers and stops grit and dirt from causing a fault. Handle height adjustment mechanism:

The sprite stem has a push button clip to indicate the top height of the handlebars to avoid forcing the handle bars up and out of the main stem. 

The collar clamp on the Micro Sprite is thicker and therefore more robust 

The inside of the stem where the collar clamp grips has a plastic sleeve to protect the handle bar stem from damage and stop the two pieces of aluminium from locking together. 

The handlebar from 65 to 95cm, meaning that the scooter will grow with your child. 

Kickstand: 

The sprite has a handy kick stand so that the scooter does not have to be left of the ground which could potentially damage the components. 

Paint:
