The tradition of eggs as a symbol of Easter dates way back but Christians believe the egg is a symbol of Jesus rising from the dead (an egg cracked open resembles Jesus’ empty tomb). In some countries, children believe that an Easter Bunny hides eggs for them to find. 

However you celebrate Easter, why don’t you create an Easter Egg Hunt for your friends to do on scooters? Using your scooter is a great way of burning up all those extra calories and means you’ll be able to hunt faster too! 

WHERE? 

At home, in your local park or a local stately home. Alternatively, there are lots of Easter Egg Hunts throughout the UK. 

HOW?

Eggs can simply be hidden on the day or you could ask an adult to create a series of clues for you to follow instead. Try to remember where you’ve hidden any eggs or clues as well as how many you’ve hidden otherwise someone else might end up finding them. 

Chocolate and sweets aren’t good for animals so make sure they are out of the reach of domestic pets and also don’t hide them too far in advance otherwise your local wildlife might disappear with your booty.
