Could Your Little One be the Talk of the Terminal?

  • 3 min read
Those of us lucky enough to have been on a holiday abroad at a very young age probably won’t have many memories of your first experience in the airport, but there’s a small chance you’ll remember that buzz of excitement at seeing those planes take off for the first time. One thing you’re less likely to remember is how stressed out your parents may have been, worrying about whether their cases were under the weight limit, whether you’d all be sitting together on the flight and obsessively checking the passports to make sure they’re definitely in date! If there’s one thing that kids and parents can almost certainly both relate to when it comes to the airport trip, it’s the queueing and the waiting… and the waiting to queue… then more queueing to wait somewhere else. It’s probably a little less noticeable for parents, considering the number of distractions available for them to worry about, such as re-checking those travel insurance policy documents or wondering which shops in the terminal sell plug adapters. But the kids, hopefully somewhat still in the midst of the excitement, are fairly likely to feel the strain and get tired out by the second or third queue… Short of taking foldaway camping chairs along, how could you keep them rested and happy? When the team at Compare Cover discovered the Micro Scooters Lazy Luggage ride-on case, the Mums and Dads among us were the ultimate mix of amazement and envy! There’s enough storage space in there to keep toys, colouring books, teddies, sweets and whatever else the little one could possibly need to fill the waiting time with, all while being chauffeured around the terminal on their own private ride-on taxi. We only wish we could jump on our cases and be pulled around too! Of course, the airport is just one place the Lazy Luggage could be useful. Have you ever been on a long shopping trip with a tired toddler? Imagine gliding through the shopping centres at Christmas time without hearing “I’m tired!” every few minutes (well, without hearing it from your little one at least). We can definitely see the Lazy Luggage turning some heads, so we’re proud to team up with Micro Scooters to help make one lucky winner and their child the envy of the terminal at their next trip abroad in our competition this month. Travel insurance is an absolute must for all holidaymakers planning a trip away, providing peace of mind to cover you for cancellation, unforeseen medical expenses and more (depending on the policy and level of cover). So, when you compare travel insurance quotes at Compare Cover any time in July 2018, you’ll be automatically entered into our prize draw where a lucky winner will receive their very own Lazy Luggage ride-on case from Micro Scooters! It couldn’t be easier to enter the competition and there’s no purchase necessary. If you’re a UK resident aged 18 or over, simply complete your details on our travel insurance form any time in July and your entry will be recorded as soon as you click through to view your quotes! Will your child be the talk of the terminal? Compare travel insurance quotes at Compare Cover now for your chance to win! Terms and conditions apply. Closing date is midnight, Tuesday July 31st 2018.
