ABOUT MICRO
KINGS COLLEGE HOSPITAL
The Micro Scooters Hospital Scheme aims to bring a little bit of fun to children recovering from treatment. The latest beneficiary of the scheme is Kings College Hospital who received 7 scooters that will be used by children to scoot to operations, as part of physiotherapy sessions and for just plain old scooting fun.
Jackie Ambrose, Play Specialists Leader at King’s, said: “We’re very thankful for the donation of these scooters. Surgery is a daunting experience for anyone, but especially children. These scooters will provide a welcome distraction for children who are about to or are recovering from an operation”
Thank you to the amazing children, staff and parents for welcoming us we hope your scooters provide a fun and useful addition to Hospital life.
