What Is The Difference Between Small And Large Wheels On A Scooter?
If your child is looking to make the transition to a two wheeled scooter, then you may be wondering whether to opt for small or large wheels. The Micro Scooter range means that at this stage you have two options:- Micro Sprite, 2 small wheels
- Micro Cruiser, 2 large wheels
Foldable and lightweight
The great news is that all the scooters in our two wheeled range are foldable. This means that transporting them and storing them between adventures is very easy and requires little space.
As a general rule our smaller wheeled scooters (the Micro Sprite) are a little lighter to carry. Having said this the Cruiser only weighs in at a tiny 4.5kg (or 9.9lbs) which, in case you were wondering, is the same weight as a domestic cat or just 30 bananas!

Adjustable handlebars, 2 designs
All of our two wheeled scooters come with an adjustable handlebar but the maximum height that they extend to varies ever so slightly so you'll want to consider the current height of your child in your choice. In general we recommend that children aged 9 and older opt for a Micro Sprite as their handlebars extend higher. The next thing to consider is the style of handlebars, the Sprite has traditional t- shaped bars whilst the Cruiser has the retro design of the curved chopper handlebars. The difference is purely in the design. Both the Cruiser and the Sprite are made with premium quality PU wheels to ensure that they maintain their shape over time and have ABEC 9 bearings within for a smoother, quieter ride.

We are proud to say that we stock replacement and spare parts for all the scooters in our range. This means that our scooters with the correct care can literally last a lifetime. Our Swiss engineered scooters are designed so that when parts become worn that they can be easily swapped for new, keeping your scooting adventures out of landfill and the smiles on your children's faces.Comparison table
