And Sally, our expert scooter carer here at Micro, will show you exactly what you need to know to keep your scooter looking and working as good as new.

"I have been Scooter Carer in Chief at Micro Scooters for 7 years. It is my job to constantly keep our customers up-to-date with advice on how to maintain, repair or revamp their scooters. When I'm not doing that I am a mum of 2, a keen gardener and excellent jam maker"

1. Always check your scooter over before riding. We would recommend checking clamps, folding handles, bolts and screws are tightened properly. 2. Also check the wheels for wear and tear Please also make sure that the steering column is securely held in the proper position. 3. Most importantly, check the brake on your scooter 4. Spray the wheel bearings and the folding block of your scooter once a week Use a 3in1 or similar light machine oil as this will help to prevent the bearings from seizing up and it will make sure the folding mechanism operates smoothly. 5. Give you scooter a regular clean Use a damp cloth to keep it looking and working as good as new. Make sure it is thoroughly dry before you put it away. 6. We recommend you regularly check all bolts on the scooter Check they are tight and secure (use an Allen key). Do these scooter maintenance tips help? Let us know in the comments below.
